Hosiery Review: Noosh Play Sheer Tights

After a very long hiatus, I have returned with another hosiery review!

Today, I'm reviewing the "Play Sheer" tights from Noosh, in the shade "Dulce."

First Impressions

Right out of the shipping envelope, I was immediately impressed with the packaging of these tights. Not overly elaborate, but not "drug store" minimalist, either. Just a nice, clean, unassuming little bag, with "Noosh" printed on it, along with a "House of Tights" card, with a QR code on the back of it. The QR code led me to Noosh's website, with an offer of 20% off site-wide. Depending upon how the rest of this review goes, I may take advantage of that.

When I took the tights out of the package, I was struck by a couple things. First, the pigmentation of these nylons is gorgeous. The color is rich and even, and before I ever considered putting them on my legs, I was very pleased with how smooth they looked. The second thing that caught my eye was the waistband. It seemed HUGE as I held the tights in my hands.

Trying On

These tights were thicker than I anticipated, but I didn't mind. When your legs have been through what mine have over the years, thicker pantyhose equate to better coverage, and better concealment of all the little flaws.

The toes are reinforced, which I love. Not only do reinforced toes protect your nylons from being punctured by your toenails (I haven't had a pedi in over a month), they just look sexy as hell, especially with a couple toe rings peeking out from under them.

The tights were, well, tight, when I was pulling them on. I was worried that they would be too tight to fit correctly on my thighs. I was very pleased to find that they weren't too tight, and they slid over my thighs like they were tailor made just for me.

The waistband...oh, that glorious waistband! What I thought seemed excessive (4" waistband) is absolutely PERFECT. The waistband comes up to just above my navel, and has stayed in place as if by magic (so far).

The Fit

What can I say about the fit? It's perfect. I feel like these tights were made to fit me perfectly. There is no sagging in the crotch or the ankles, and after a few minutes, I honestly forgot I was wearing nylons at all. They fit like a second skin, comfortable and breathable.

The Finish

With so many pantyhose, especially the cheaper brands, it seems like they come out of the package with snags, lines, mottled color or just plain ugly finish.

These tights are the opposite. The color distribution is flawless. There isn't a snag or a line to be found. Were it not for the difference between the tights and my natural skintone (which is more fair), you'd have trouble noticing that I'm wearing them at all. 10/10.

Stress Test

I wore the Noosh tights for a solid 24 hours, with a dress and heels, under jeans with sneakers, and even slept in them.

Before taking them off, I took a good look at them, searching for flaws, snags, rips, runs, or any sign that they had been worn at all.

I have to say that they looked as good when I took them off as they did when I put them on, which is to say that they passed the stress test with flying colors. I put them through their paces, and these tights just smiled and asked for more.

Final Thoughts

I paid $32 for this pair of Noosh tights. With the exception of Wolford, I never would have dreamed to pay so much for a single pair of nylons before. Why spend $32 on a single pair of tights when you can get 2 pair of Sheer Energy pantyhose from Walmart for $10? The answer is simple: you get what you pay for.

Don't get me wrong. I've worn Sheer Energy before, and I'm very fond of them, but they can be constricting and overly thick, often bunching up behind my knees (which drives me crazy).

The Noosh Play Sheer tights are  strong, resilient, beautiful and, if I'm being 100% honest, the most comfortable pantyhose I've worn in a very long time. They fit my body like they were made just for me. They're like a layer of polish on my legs, hiding flaws and evening out my skintone. They're soft, smooth and very comfy, and they look perfect with a pair of 3" heels (see photos).

If you have the means, I heartily endorse giving Noosh tights a try. You can buy them here (Amazon link - I earn a commission), or http://www.getnoosh.com (I don't earn a commission here).

Thanks for reading my review! I hope you now have a better impression of these fabulous tights!

Nylon Content!

Since I've started updating the blog again, I've been brainstorming content ideas. Looking at the metrics from past posts, I noticed something very interesting. The one post which has the greatest number of views (and it's not even close) was the post where I reviewed a pair of Cecilia de Rafael Eterno Super Lucido 10 tights. That post received over 1,000 unique views. The next most viewed post was somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 views.

Apparently, people who read my blog REALLY like hosiery reviews!

I'm all for giving the audience what they want, so, in the coming days, I'm going to get back to reviewing hosiery!

And we're all in luck! Last week, I ordered 9 new pair of pantyhose -- 1 from Sheertex, 1 from Noosh, 3 from Indestructible Tights and 4 from Les Belles. I intend to review the Sheertex, Noosh and Les Belles tights individually, and the Indestructible Tights all together (they're all the same style, but in different shades).

I've already received the Sheertex, Noosh and Les Belles shipments. I'm still waiting for the Indestructible Tights to arrive (shipped from China - boo!).

I'm going to try on the Noosh tights today, take some photos and put them through their paces. I'll post the Noosh review soon. Here's a little teaser...

Until next time, friends...

Silly Games

I'm a totally addicted pantyhose maniac. I think my previous posts have established that.

I've also mentioned in the past that I have worn nylons and dresses at work, in my previous career as a truck driver, but that my current job isn't conducive to the wearing of the heavenly nylon.

This we have established. Let's move on to the topic du jour.

We had a mild autumn this year in Wisconsin.  Temperatures were in the 50's (Fahrenheit) until the middle of November. You might call this "shorts weather," though I haven't worn shorts to work since September.

One day, I was reflecting on how I was free to wear whatever took my fancy at my last job, pining for the days when I could experience that freedom again. Alas, those days may never return, but that doesn't mean I can't play some silly games with my wardrobe choices at work.

It occurred to me, in my lament of freedoms lost, that nobody can see what I'm wearing under my "normal guy" clothes at work, and there is no scenario in which I'm required to wear shorts. I could rock the heavenly nylon under my work pants, and nobody would be any the wiser, ever.

So I've done just that. I've worn pantyhose under my pants (known in crossdressing circles as "underdressing") at work roughly 75% of the last month, and it has been blissful, if I'm being honest.

But wait, just pantyhose?

No, not just pantyhose.  I've also been wearing panties and "t-shirt" bras (they're supposed to be invisible under a t-shirt) in addition to my sheer nylons.

Today, I'm taking it up a notch.

I have a pair of work pants with a small hole in the thigh area. The pants are black. I've worn black or nude pantyhose under this particular pair of pants at work, which presents a very low probability of my little nylon secret being discovered.

Tonight, I'm going to wear the black pants, but with WHITE pantyhose under them. Provocative, I know. Anyone paying attention will be able to see it. Of course, nobody pays attention to little details like that, so I'm sure nothing will come of it.

*** UPDATE **

I let time get away from me! I got out of the shower, did my post-shower ritual (comb hair, swab ears, deodorant, etc), then got a look at the clock, which revealed that I should be leaving for work in roughly...5 minutes ago. Ope!

I got my panties and bra on, then slipped into my beautiful white pantyhose. Only then did I discover the problem... I have 2 pair of black work pants. They are identical in every detail, with the exception of the small hole on the leg of one pair. When folded and sitting atop a pile of clean, folded laundry, it's impossible to distinguish them from one another.

I pulled on my black work pants, looked down at the leg, and DIDN'T see my white nylons. This was the wrong pair. Again, Ope!

The fact that I was running late prevented me from swapping the pants, so I went to work with my gorgeous white pantyhose concealed under my pants, rather than peeking out through a small hole in the right thigh. As was the case with my panties and my lovely pink t-shirt bra, my glorious white tights were out of sight of everyone. My disappointment was very real and weighed on me all night at work.

Of course, wearing pantyhose under my pants at work is still several orders of magnitude better than NOT wearing pantyhose under my pants at work. The feeling of the heavenly nylon, on my legs and especially on my toes,  makes the work day so much easier.

Today is Friday. On Fridays, I wear pink -- either pink tights / pantyhose or 3 other pink items. Since I'll be at work, I can't wear 3 pink items (usually it would be bra, panties and a dress), so I'm 100% going to rock the pink tights under my pants (the pair with the rip). While it won't have the same effect as the white pantyhose, it's still pretty provocative. Maybe moreso, since pink stands out more than white does, and the pink tights I plan to wear are very, VERY pink.

To boldly go where no one has gone before...or recently...or something.

Journaling

At my job, there is plenty of "ass time" -- time spent sitting and waiting for something that requires my attention or participation. In a 12-hour shift, I'm lucky if I spend 4 hours actually doing something. I have a few computer monitors at my desk, and the majority of my shift is spent monitoring the data on those screens. There are things I can do out on the production floor, but not many, and not very often. Welcome to mill work.

Anyway, we're not allowed to bring laptops (or books, for that matter) to work, so that ass time can stretch into boredom very easily.

When we're on night shift, I can stare at my phone, which I do a lot of, but even that gets boring after several hours. My solution to this is journaling.  I keep a notebook in my locker, and every day I bring it into the office and set it under one of my monitors. When the urge strikes, I grab it and start writing whatever is rattling around in my brain. Quite often, the subject of crossdressing comes up.

Ah, but there's the rub!

I work in an office with 2 other "techs," and various people popping in and out throughout the shift, especially when we're on day shift.

It wouldn't do to have my coworkers reading my journal and discovering my love of nylons, dresses and all things girly, since nobody at this job knows about this side of me. So, I have to be very...diplomatic (read "sneaky") with what I write in my notebook. I can't mention dresses, so I call them vestidos (Spanish) or Robes (French). I most certainly can't mention pantyhose, so I call them medias (Spanish for socks) or Collants (French for pantyhose). I absolutely can't write about doing all the gay stuff I fantasize about doing, so I have to refer to those activities with vague or cryptic language. If anyone were to peruse my journal while I'm away from my desk, there is a very low likelihood that they'd understand what they're reading, at least the full context of it.

While this works to keep my freakier inclinations undiscovered, I would honestly prefer that everyone just know I'm a bisexual crossdresser and write what I really want in my notebook.

Maybe some day. Not today.

So for now, I write in foreign languages and my own little code.

Still Addicted

Wow, it's been almost 3 years since Ive update this blog! If anyone actually followed the blog, I would apologize for being so inconsistent, but nobody does, so...meh.

Nylon News

My last few posts were about forcing myself to wear pantyhose every day, which would probably drive any normal person to hate pantyhose and everything to do with them. I am not a normal person, as I'm sure you've noticed, and wearing pantyhose every day only deepened my love for the heavenly nylon.

Well, here I am, 3 years later, and so much has changed in my life. In 2023, I was hospitalized with necrotizing fasciitis (flesh-eating bacteria) for nearly a month. The "aftercare" of that condition lasted from early August, when I was released from the hospital, until March of 2024. I returned to my job in October of 2023.

In October of 2024, I was diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy. My eyesight was poor enough at that point that I couldn't qualify to drive a truck. My employer of 19 years, rather than granting me medical leave to get my condition treated, or allow me to work in a non-driving capacity while undergoing treatment, simply terminated me.

I then spent the next 6 months applying and interviewing for jobs (including a non-driving job at my former employer), none of which resulted in a job offer, and doing gig work to pay the bills. In April of this year, I was hired by a paper mill, where I've worked since, and wish I'd applied to years ago, but that's a story for another time.

When I worked for my former employer, I enjoyed the freedom of dressing how I liked at work. Most days, I would wear a dress, and it was never an issue. The job I have now doesn't afford me that kind of freedom, which is one of the very few complaints I have about it. I do, however, still wear dresses out in public, on my days off, and that suffices.

One thing that hasn't changed is my love for the heavenly nylon. I wear pantyhose practically every day, whether with a dress at home (or out and about) or under pants at work. I adore how they feel on my legs, and I can't imagine not wearing them daily.

I'm always on the hunt for new and different styles and brands of hosiery. In the past 48 hours, I've taken advantage of several "Black Friday" sales, and ordered around 10 new pair of pantyhose. I know, it's a sickness, but there are worse things...

It started with Indestructible Tights. Normally around $25 a pair, they were on sale for $9.99 each, so I ordered 3 pair.

Next was Sheertex. I've wanted to try them for a long time, and I decided to treat myself to a pair, also on sale, for $27.

From there, I ordered 2 pair from Les Belles, for which I will receive 2 additional pair of "mystery" tights -- I'm guessing the "mystery" tights are simply styles that aren't selling well, for a total for 4 pair from Les Belles.

Finally, just about an hour ago, I ordered a pair of seamless pantyhose from Noosh, for which I paid $31 total.

I'm anxious to receive all these new nylons and try them on. I've had some new acquisitions turn out to be disappointments, mostly from Shein (absolutely gorgeous and super silky, but don't stay up worth a damn), and one from Lechery (again, beautiful as all get out, but too small for me, even at their largest size), but I'm confident I'll love all the nylons I've ordered in the past 2 days.

This Nylon Life - Conclusion

Supreme Victory!

I just wanted to post a quick update on the Holiday Pantyhose Challenge.

Quite simply, the challenge is complete and I CRUSHED it!

I wore pantyhose (or tights) for 12 consecutive hours for 60 days straight. I didn't miss a day, didn't cheat, and the best part is that I enjoyed every minute of it.

So the conclusion I have made from this experiment is that I cannot possibly get tired of wearing nylons, even when I am required to do so.

In fact, my love for the heavenly caress of pantyhose / tights has only grown over the past 2 months. I want to wear them more often. I'm wearing them now!

Now, if I can only apply this passion for hosiery to other areas of my life...

That is a topic for another post.

Thanks for reading!

This Nylon Life: Update

What's This?

Am I really updating my blog in less than 6 months?

Why, yes! Yes, I am!

An Update

In my last post, I explained the Holiday Pantyhose Challenge that I've undertaken. That was day 26.

Today is day 58, and I'm happy to report that the challenge continues, and that I've worn pantyhose (or tights) for at least 12 consecutive hours for 58 days straight, including today.

To the concept of ever getting tired of wearing nylons, I have concluded that it is quite impossible for me to do so. I simply don't tire of it. I am just as exhilarated to slip on my pantyhose each morning today as I was 58 days ago, and for many decades prior to that.

In Other News

With the Holiday Pantyhose Challenge winding down, I think I may take a few days to wear regular guy clothes. It's not that I'm tired of wearing pantyhose, but I'm tired of being required to wear them.

Additionally, there have been some unfortunate circumstances at home, which may soon result in me being single after nearly 15 years. This isn't an outcome I look forward to, but one that I must be prepared for.

In the regrettable even that I find myself single in the new year, my public crossdressing will very likely increase significantly. The only reason it hasn't already is an agreement I made with my fiancee a couple years ago. Basically, I agreed not to wear anything overtly feminine within the community in which we live, so nobody she knows will see and associate her with my "quirk." The relationship being dissolved, or at least redefined, that agreement will be void, and I will be at liberty to dress any way I like, anywhere I like and at any time I see fit.

I'll probably lean on a friend of mine to help me ease into places where nobody knows about my peculiar fashion sense, and expand from there. I'll wear my dresses and nylons out in public, adding makeup, jewelry and such as I feel appropriate, until I feel that I can truly be myself.

It all sounds very nice, but at the cost of a relationship I have truly enjoyed for most of the time it has existed.

I supposed all things change and all things end, but I was really hoping it wouldn't end this way.
