What? It's Wednesday? And weekends start on Saturday?
Pish posh.
At my job, we work a 2-2-3 swing. I just finished 2 days on, so now I get 2 days off. That's a weekend, no matter what day it starts on...
Anyway, since I get a weekend in the middle of the week, I've decided to do something with it.
I have an eye exam scheduled for tomorrow. I will attend while wearing a pretty dress, glossy nude tights, a choker, and dangly earrings, along with my patent leather Mary Janes. If I'm feeling especially daring, I'll wear a choker, and apply a generous portion of mascara. If they're able to make my glasses the same day, I'll return in the same outfit to pick them up. Before that, I'll need to run to Wally World and pick up some food for my pup, in the same outfit, of course. If I find time, I'll stop by a thrift shop or 2, just to round out the day.
Friday, I have an appointment with my retina specialist, to receive another round of injections (directly in each eye), to which I'll wear my customary outfit -- a lovely dress with pink tights and my patent Mary Janes. I won't be able to wear any makeup to that appointment, but i can stop just short. Anyway, jewelry, nylons and dresses are perfectly acceptable on injection day, so I'll take full advantage of that. I'm also taking my aunt to breakfast before this appointment, as a show of gratitude to her for driving me to and from my appointment. I could drive myself there, but driving home would be a problem, as my eyesight is usually compromised to some degree after the injections. A couple times, I was completely blinded by the injections, for about half an hour. It was terrifying.
I've considered wearing heels to one or both appointments, but I think what I already have planned is plenty. There is no need to go over the top with the femme presentation.
Public Crossdressing Weekend (PCDW) is here!
Who am I kidding? Every day off is a public crossdressing occasion! I'm addicted to the rush of it. I know people notice, and I'm certain they chuckle and talk behind my back, but I don't care. I love being out in the world as my authentic self.
