This Week's Outings, 8/2/26

Sunday 8/2/26:

Today I stepped out a little bolder than usual.

First, while my lovely fiancee was asleep, I showered, slipped into a cute panty and sports bra, pulled on a lovely pair of black sheer-to-waist pantyhose, added a cute anklet and a pretty LulaRoe Julia dress. Then I slipped on my favorite pair of ballet flats and headed out the door.

The trip wasn't very long, but I went to the local grocery store, then to my favorite Kwik-E-Mart for a lovely energy drink, and finally to Walgreens to exchange my empty propane tank for a full one (I had to stop back home first, as I forgot the empty propane canister the first time out). All that done, I headed home.

Later, our landlord finally got our garage door fixed, so I went out to the street (still wearing the same ensemble) and moved both of our cars into the garage, then took our trash cans out to the curb.

All in all, quite visible today, and I have even more planned for tomorrow...

Monday 8/3/26:

I had planned to have several outings today, and practice my makeup techniques, but things rarely go according to plan...

After showering, I put on my underthings, glossy sky blue tights, anklet, and a pretty blue, yellow and pink pastel mini-dress. Honestly, this dress is shorter than I like, and definitely shorter than a person my age should wear, but I love it, so I'm wearing it.

I had a grocery order to pick up, so I slipped into a pair of patent Mary Janes, jumped in the car and drove to the store. The pickup was very routine, and afterward I drove home.

I have to provide a little backstory for the next part...

Last September, the ceiling in our bathroom collapsed. due to a leak in the upper apartment (we live in a house that was converted into an upper / lower rental). Our slumlord (no, not a typo), in true slumlord fashion, hired one of his prison buddies (I wish I were making this up) to fix the leak and repair our bathroom. Remember, the ceiling collapsed last September, almost a year ago. The slumlord's prison buddy left a ladder, and some tools sitting in our bathroom, which I moved to the garage, with the sheet of drywall he also left. So, back to today's outing...

Before I unloaded the car, I decided I'd had my fill of prison buddy's property in my garage, so I slid the drywall outside and leaned it against the garage wall (still in my dress, nylons, etc), then proceeded to unload the car and put the groceries away.

To finish off the day's outdoor activities, I walked out to the curb, dragged my trash cans back to their customary spot next to our screen porch, then walked back into the house.

This Week's Outings, 7/26/26

My failure to update last week has led me to a decision.

I'll update these "what I wore outside this week" posts, on the days I actually ventured out into the world. Otherwise, it feels like a chore and I get bored with it pretty quickly.

Monday 7/27/26:

Today was a very bad day. A tornado tore through my area, and missed my house by less than a mile.

In the storm, I ran out do get my trash can out of the street, wearing a pair of pink biker shorts over blue sheer tights. My fiancee was home at the time, and saw me do the whole thing.

I should be happy, but this storm caused a lot of damage and ruined a lot of lives. It's going to take a long time to rebuild.

Wednesday 7/29/26:

I had grand designs to go out into the world today, in my femme attire, but since I worked 8 12-hour shifts in a row (which ended Tuesday morning), I've been feeling rather lazy. I stayed home the entire day, with one very small exception...

Because of Monday's storm, and the resultant loss of electricity, I was forced to disconnect my garage door opener in order to get my car out of the garage and go to work. My fiancee decided to try to reconnect it when the power was restored, but things went sideways, and the garage door was stuck closed for 2 days, with my fiancee's car trapped inside. Our landlord was able to get the door opening and closing, but a part is required to get the opener working again. That being the case, my lovely has elected to park her car on the road until the garage opener is working again.

We have "odd even" parking in our city, which means that you're allowed to park your car on the street overnight, as long as it's parked on the correct side of the street. If the date (before midnight) is even, you park on the side of the street with the even-numbered houses, and vice versa if the date is odd.

I explained all that to tell you this: My fiancee parked her car on the wrong side of the street. So, before 2am (when odd-even enforcement starts), I ran out, wearing the LulaRoe Julia dress and white sheer nylons I had been wearing all night, and moved her car from the even side to the odd side.

Wow! What a long-winded way to say I walked out to the street and back. LOL!

Friday 7/31/26:

I woke up an hour early and ran to the local Walgreens, to pick up a prescription and to find a decent mascara, as I'd lost the Dollar Tree mascara I bought last week. I suppose it's for the best. A person shouldn't wear $1.25 mascara, or any $1.25 makeup, anyway.

So I walked out to my car, still parked on the street, wearing a blue and gray LulaRoe Julia dress, nude pantyhose layered over hot pink holdup stockings, and a hoodie, then drove to Walgreens, where I picked up my prescription without a problem (as usual) and spent more time than necessary looking at mascara. When I found one I quite liked, I walked to the checkout, paid for it and went back home, where I walked back into the house, tried on the new mascara (loved it), then jumped in the shower to get ready for work.

This Week's Outings, 7/19/26

Sunday 7/19/26:

I woke up today wearing the same Noosh seamless tights (in the shade "storm") from yesterday, and a leopard-print nightie. I threw on a pair of black patent 4" heels and sat on the front porch for about 10 minutes while my dog did her outside business.

Not every day can be a crossdressing adventure, but I can try to be visible a little bit every day.

Tomorrow, Monday, 7/20/26, is a work day. I may or may not wear panty, bra and nylons under my work clothes (leaning toward "may"), but I plan to make some sort of public appearance before getting ready for work. I'll keep you posted!

Monday 7/20/26:

Before heading off to work, I slipped into a lovely black mesh bra and my customary Monday hosiery (blue, for Blue Monday), then pulled on my work clothes over it all and went to work. I wasn't able to have any kind of public outing, due to my fiancee being home and awake. But off to work I went, in my panties, bra and blue pantyhose!

Tuesday 7//21/26:

Upon arriving home from work, I ditched my drab work clothes and slipped into a spectacular blue floral LulaRoe Cici (dress), then went outside and dragged my trash cans in from the curb. Public outing, check! I was pleased to see that my Shein order was delivered yesterday, and I'll be very happy to try on the romper I know is inside that package, to sleep in today (with pantyhose under it, of course).

Wednesday 7/22/26:

I don't have much to report today. I got home from work, stripped off my boring work clothes, down to my panties, bra and white sheer nylons, pulled on a pair of pink capris and a t-shirt, then let my pup out and sat on the porch while she took care of her business. So I guess that counts as an outing. I'll make it up tomorrow, scout's honor...

Conclusion:

Wow! I guess daily updates only work if you do them...daily.

Sorry I haven't been updating.

The rest of the week was pretty standard stuff -- sitting / standing on the porch in a dress and nylons, waiting for the pup to finish sniffing and whatnot.

I'll try to do better next week!

Awesome Find

Did you know about rompers? If you did, and didn't tell me, shame on you!

I order from Shein quite often.  For the most part, their selection of women's attire is affordable, decently made and fits well (if you order 1 size up). The only exception is their hosiery, which is gorgeous, silky and feels great, but falls down, regardless of the size I buy. Being an insatiable nylon nerd, it breaks my heart, but life must go on...

Lately, I've been buying sleepwear from Shein, and I'm quite happy with the nighties and sleep shirts. Aside from the tags, which are huge and impossible to rip off, they're very comfy and look great. I slept in one today, a pink leopard print baby doll. So comfy!

Anyway, long story long, I saw a romper I thought was cute, so I bought it. It arrived with a shipment yesterday, and I didn't wear it to bed, because it's a one-piece garment with no opening in the crotch, and I get up to use the bathroom at least once every night, so....who wants to take a romper completely off just to pee, then put it back on?

When I woke up, I was anxious to try on the new romper, and I did. Holy cow, I'm in love! This thing is extremely comfortable, fits me perfectly, and the legs are just long enough to cover the control top of my pantyhose (yes, I'm a pantyhose freak and I wear them 24/7).

In case you want to check out the romper, or possibly buy one for yourself, click this link. I don't get any kind of commission, so no pressure. I'm off to shop for more of these!

The romper I bought (and I'm wearing now) is pink with gray leopard spots. I couldn't find a photo of it because this color and size is sold out. But it looks just like this one, in pink.

Also, I'm not the person in the photo wearing the romper. My God, to have those curves...

This Week's Outings, 7/12/26

Sunday, 7/12/26:

I don't remember what I wore, or where I went. Exciting start to this new series!

Monday, 7/13/26:

I didn't wear anything feminine outside (or inside) today. Sorry to be so boring!

Tuesday, 7/14/26:

Today is a day off from work. Since I had no outings, and didn't even wear anything girly yesterday, I decided to wear my favorite blue pantyhose, with black panties, a black mesh bra, and a pretty blue, black and white tie-dye-ish swing dress. I normally like to wear blue nylons on Monday, but, as I've already admitted, I didn't wear any nylons of any sort on Monday, so I wanted to honor the weekly wearing O' the blue today.

I only had one outing today, but it was extensive. First, I had an Amazon return to take care of, so I threw a gray hoodie on (I've found that people gasp less when they see me this way, as opposed to realizing that I'm wearing a dress. The hem of the dress and the very glaringly nylon-covered legs protruding from it are somewhat less off-putting when you can convince yourself that it's shorts, or some such thing. Anyway, the hoodie keeps the peace, so I rock it), and drove to Kohl's to make the return.

Apparently, Kohl's doesn't accept Amazon returns at the Customer Service counter anymore. Nope, you have to walk through the entire store, to the back corner, and interact with a store employee standing in the middle of the toy aisle. Anyway, I walked through the entire Kohl's store, twice, and headed back to my car.

Next, to Walmart, which is conveniently next door to Kohl's. My baby needs dog food. In and out with the dog food is no problem. With the exception of a poor woman whose kids decided to start screaming as she approached the checkout, Walmart was uneventful.

The next stop in the Tuesday outing took me to the eyeglass place where I bought my new glasses last Friday. The nose pads that came with them were hurting my nose, so I tried to replace them with a pair of soft pads I'd ordered from Amazon years ago. I was able to change one, but couldn't get the screw out of the other, so I figured the glasses place would be able to finish what I couldn't.

After standing at their counter for about 15 minutes, being gawked at by some old woman who couldn't keep her jaw off the floor, I was informed that they didn't have a screw that would fit with my pads, so they put on their version of "soft" pads, and out the door I went.

Next up was the Dollar Tree, to pick up some makeup remover wipes. I caught a few looks walking around the store, but things like that don't bother me anymore. Also, walking around Dollar Tree is a trap. Everything is cheap, so temptation is everywhere. I got my makeup remover wipes, but I also got a toenail clipper, a little mop thing for cleaning the inside of my car's windshield, a mascara and a 2-tone cream eyeshadow stick. All I wanted was the makeup wipes. Sheesh.

BTW, I tried out the cream eyeshadow stick shortly after I got home, and it isn't worth the $1.25 I paid for it. Oh well, I'm out $1.25, and had a new experience.

After Dollar Tree, I ordered lunch from McDonald's, for curbside pickup, and went home to eat my Quarter Pounder and drink a lovely Diet Dr. Pepper. I'm sure the guy (short, black guy, probably in his late 50's, with painted fingernails) saw my blue legwear, and more power to him if he did. Also, he's awesome for wearing nail polish to work. I wish I could pull that off...good on ya, my guy.

Wednesday 7/15/26:

Sadly, I wasn't in the mood to wear anything feminine, outside the house or otherwise. Someone has once again set fire to Canada, and my little corner of Wisconsin is engulfed in smoke. That sort of thing doesn't really inspire a person to dress up and flit about.

Sorry.

Thursday 7/16/26:

The wildfires continue to burn. I didn't venture out in any of my femme finery, mostly due to the fact that I worked 12 hours in this ridiculous heat and smoky haze, and just didn't have the time. However, upon returning home from work, I slipped into a panty, bra and white sheer nylons, and went outside to check my mail, which could be considered an outing, I suppose.

Tomorrow is another day, and the wildfires are still going to be burning, but I'll strongly consider wearing bra, panties and pantyhose under my "male" clothes at work. No promises, but if I don't, I'll likely slip into them at home and have some sort of outing.

Friday 7/17/26:

Today I decided that enough is enough, and after 2 days of denying my sissy impulses, I went to work wearing bra, panty and nude pantyhose under my work clothes. What an incredible feeling that was!

Upon returning home, I exchanged my work pants and t-shirt for a sparkly silver Lula Roe Nichole dress, pulled a hoodie on over it and headed back out to the liquor store, to buy a bottle of my favorite whisky.

So ends my public crossdressing for today, but fear not! I will venture forth in a dress again tomorrow, as sure as the sun will rise.

Saturday 7/18/26:

We have, in the past couple years, been ordering our groceries online and picking them up at the store. The stores shop for the items and bag them up, then put them into the car, at no additional cost, so it's basically a no-brainer for the time and effort it saves us.

Anyway, I went to pick up our groceries wearing the same silver Lula Roe Nichole, sans hoodie, with Noosh seamless tights in the shade "storm" and black / pink Under Armour Ignite slides. I was only publicly exposed for about 30 seconds when I got out of my car to open the back door for the store employee, but I guess that still counts.

A New Gimmick!

Every day, I challenge myself to appear in public, wearing pantyhose / tights / stockings and a dress or skirt, even if only for a few moments. It's a fun little game, and it has helped me be less nervous and shy.

It occurred to me today that I have no accountability mechanism in place for this daily challenge, so I decided that I'm going to blog about it.

It would be easy to just post a new blog entry every day, but I feel like that would become cumbersome for anyone reading the blog, so here's the plan:

Each week, I'll create a post, titled "This Week's Outings," with that Sunday's date. I'll do my very best to update it each day with what, when and where, just to remain accountable.

This will be the first week, and I'll probably start from today, since I don't quite remember what I wore on Sunday, or where I went in it.

So if that sort of thing interests you, please enjoy reading it. If not, you know what to skip now. The more you know...

The Weekend

What? It's Wednesday? And weekends start on Saturday?

Pish posh.

At my job, we work a 2-2-3 swing. I just finished 2 days on, so now I get 2 days off. That's a weekend, no matter what day it starts on...

Anyway, since I get a weekend in the middle of the week, I've decided to do something with it.

I have an eye exam scheduled for tomorrow. I will attend while wearing a pretty dress, glossy nude tights, a choker, and dangly earrings, along with my patent leather Mary Janes. If I'm feeling especially daring, I'll wear a choker, and apply a generous portion of mascara. If they're able to make my glasses the same day, I'll return in the same outfit to pick them up. Before that, I'll need to run to Wally World and pick up some food for my pup, in the same outfit, of course. If I find time, I'll stop by a thrift shop or 2, just to round out the day.

Friday, I have an appointment with my retina specialist, to receive another round of injections (directly in each eye), to which I'll wear my customary outfit -- a lovely dress with pink tights and my patent Mary Janes. I won't be able to wear any makeup to that appointment, but i can stop just short. Anyway, jewelry, nylons and dresses are perfectly acceptable on injection day, so I'll take full advantage of that. I'm also taking my aunt to breakfast before this appointment, as a show of gratitude to her for driving me to and from my appointment. I could drive myself there, but driving home would be a problem, as my eyesight is usually compromised to some degree after the injections. A couple times, I was completely blinded by the injections, for about half an hour. It was terrifying.

I've considered wearing heels to one or both appointments, but I think what I already have planned is plenty. There is no need to go over the top with the femme presentation.

Public Crossdressing Weekend (PCDW) is here!

Who am I kidding? Every day off is a public crossdressing occasion! I'm addicted to the rush of it. I know people notice, and I'm certain they chuckle and talk behind my back, but I don't care. I love being out in the world as my authentic self.

How'd That Go?

The latest challenge...

It came and went without issue.

Honestly, it was too easy.

Wearing a bra and panties is an everyday thing for me anyway.

Wearing pantyhose to work was strange at first, but even that began to feel normal before too long.

In fact, since the challenge has ended, I've had the option of leaving the panties, bra and pantyhose at home when I go to work, which I did for 1 day. I was so used to wearing all my femme undergarments, that I didn't feel right without them. Thus, I have worn the panty, bra and nylons every day since.

So I guess the challenge produced an unintended result, afterall.

Now I feel out of place if I'm not wearing a panty, a bra, and a pair of pantyhose, at all times, even to bed.

Even when pulling the trash can in from the curb in front of my neighbor (see previous post)...

Fun With Neighbors

Our neighborhood trash pickup was yesterday, and my trash can was still out at the curb, where the city empties them for us, once per week.

First thing this morning, when I let my dog outside to handle her "outside" business, I walked out to the curb and retrieved the trash can.

As I was pulling the can back to the side of my house (which is at the rear of the property), my neighbor walked out of her house and sat on her porch.

I was probably 5 feet from her, or closer. We share a yard.

Normally, this wouldn't be an event, except...

I was wearing a dress, glossy nylons and ballet flats at the time.

Oopsie!

Oh well, it's not like the neighbors have never seen me in a dress before. I don't exactly hide it from the world.

Just a fun, semi-exciting start to my day off...

The Home Stretch

No, I'm not talking about stretching your nylons before putting them on, though that's a popular practice.

What I'm referring to is the last few days of the latest challenge.

I know I was supposed to end the challenge already, but I extended it, for reasons that shall remain entirely my own.

Anyway, having worn panties, a bra and pantyhose 24 hours a day since the beginning of this challenge, I'm relieved that the finish line is only 2 days away.

I'll be relieved that I'm no longer required to wear pantyhose, but not that I won't be wearing them. In fact, I'll likely be wearing them just as much, because I love them so.

I feel like I'll take Friday off, since it's my birthday, and only wear panties. On Saturday, that goes out the window and I'm back in a bra and pantyhose, but not to satisfy any challenge. No, I'll wear those incredible, amazing feminine undergarments simply because it makes me feel very happy to do so.

Another Nylon Challenge

Every once in a while, when the mood strikes me, I'll participate in some sort of challenge, just for my own entertainment. Being that I'm a nylon freak, most of these challenges involve wearing pantyhose, usually for a certain number of hours, or days, or whatever.

Well, the mood has struck me once again, so I'm instituting another challenge, and yes, in a twist a school full of blind kids could have seen coming from a mile away, it involves wearing pantyhose. Hey, I'm predictable, but I'm fun...

The challenge is simply this: wear panties, bra and pantyhose at all times, even under my "man" clothes, every hour of every day, starting today and ending when I wake up on June 2nd. There are no exceptions, even at my job. With the obvious exception of showering, this is a 24/7 challenge.

I know this sort of thing is silly, but I love doing it anyway.

Why am I posting it on my blog? Because I don't post to the blog often enough, and I enjoy sharing these little insights into my deviant thought process.

Maybe nobody reads this. Maybe thousands do. It's somewhat exciting to consider the possibilities...

To start the challenge, I'll tell you what I'm wearing now, and have been since I got out of the shower yesterday:

I'm wearing pink cheeky panties, a purple sports bra, black Noosh Play Gloss tights and my latest obsession - pink biker shorts that I bought from Shein.

I'll try to remember to post updates about this challenge as it goes on.

Wish me luck!

Review Update: Les Belles

Last month, I posted a review of Les Belles tights. To sum up, I was impressed with the quality, but the sizing was way off.

I reached out to Les Belles and explained the situation to them.

The Good

A very nice customer service rep sent me 3 more pair of Les Belles tights in the next larger size, free of charge

The Bad

Upon receipt of the 2nd shipment, I was eager to try them on, which I did.  According to Les Belle's own website, the size I received this time is too big for me, and should be baggy on me. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

Once again, the tights seem to be of excellent quality, but they're SHORT. They weren't sliding off my butt within the first  5 minutes like the previous Les Belles offering. This pair took almost 2 hours before the waistband slid into the nether regions, taking my underwear with it, much to my annoyance.

The Ugly

When I initially emailed Les Belles regarding the problems I'd had with the tights, I received an automated response, promising that I would hear from an actual CSR within 24 hours.

A week later, I sent another email, which was ignored.

A week after that, I sent another email, with the magic title, "Have you given up on order #12345?" This is a technique I learned from the book "Never Split The Difference: Negotiating As If Your Life Depended On It" by Chris Voss. Thanks, Chris. This stuff really works.

Within a day, I was in touch with the aforementioned very nice CSR, and within 3 days my 2nd Les Belles shipment was en route.

Conclusion

Once again, I really wanted to love Les Belles tights. Once again, I was disappointed. Maybe I'll give them another try in the future, if they get their sizing figured out and their customer service up to a respectable level.

Until then, Au Revoir, Les Belles.

More Nylon Content?

Last month, I posted 4 hosiery reviews, because it's a subject near and dear to my heart, and because, looking at the analytics for this blog, it's the most popular subject among the readers of the blog.

I know I need to start driving more traffic to the blog to get an accurate response, but I'm curious, are you, the readers, enjoying my hosiery reviews?

Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know if you enjoyed the pantyhose reviews, and what sort of content you'd like to see on this blog.

PS: I contacted Les Belles, and they're re-shipping my entire order, minus the "sheer shimmer" style, which is out of stock. I'll re-review the Les Belles experience when those arrive. Maybe Les Belles will overshadow Noosh.

With pantyhose, anything is possible.

Hosiery Review - Indestructible Tights

There are times when I marvel at all the new pantyhose brands I see advertised online. I want to try most of them, and I'm excited to see what new styles and trends arrive in the future. You can imagine how hard I geeked out when I saw the ads for Indestructible Tights. They were sheer, glossy and, well, indestructible. What more could I ask for? How about a $10 price tag? I was hooked. I bought 3 pair right there on the spot.

Unboxing

There are also times when I am disgusted by the business practices I see from online vendors.

This is an example of such a time.

Where To Begin?

I suppose some backstory would be best.

I have bought from Shein, Temu and Wish, many times. I have ordered more pantyhose from Shein than you can see on an average day at Walmart or JC Penney. They promised to be "ultra" glossy, sheer, rip-resistant, you name it. With few exceptions, they all sent me the same product -- cheaply made, virtually opaque, semi-glossy tights that don't stay up for anything or anyone.

I've learned my lesson about buying hosiery from these Chinese online stores. I won't do it anymore. Although I love the glossy aspect of them, how they feel super slippery and slinky on my legs, I just hate how they slip down constantly. Even when I pull them up as high as the waistband will stretch, within 15 minutes, that darn waistband is back at my waist (hey, what's in a name?). Worse than that, if I leave the waistband at my waist, where it is happy to stay for a while, the sagging duties transfer to the crotch of the tights. Before long, I have a pocket between my legs large enough to keep my winter hat and gloves in when I'm indoors.

Fast forward to a couple weeks ago. Having ordered my Indestructible Tights on the same day that I ordered my Noosh, Sheertex  and Les Belles tights, I assumed all of them would arrive within a day or two of each other 3. When the Noosh, Sheertex and Les Belles packages were all in my possession, I decided to check the tracking on the Indestructible Tights. I was disappointed to learn that, not only were they being shipped from China, but they hadn't even been shipped yet. I patiently waited until the next Monday, then contacted their customer support via email. I had paid an extra $12 for "expedited" shipping, and couldn't fathom how 3 other brands had managed to get my order in my hands faster than they did, when all 3 of them shipped my tights for free.

To their credit, the customer service response was prompt. To my great dismay, it was also not what I was hoping to hear. Rather than refunding my $12 "expedited" shipping fee, I was informed that "expedited" shipping meant I would receive my order within 10-12 days of it being shipped, which wasn't until almost a week after I placed the order. So now, the "expedited" time frame was 2-3 weeks. I've had orders from Shein (with free shipping) arrive faster than that, from China. The rep informed me that they would process a refund if my order didn't arrive by the 12th day. Care to guess when it arrived? If you guessed "on the 12th day," congratulations.

If that nightmare weren't enough, I took the first pair of tights out of the package, and my heart immediately sank.

These  are EXACTLY the same tights I used to buy from Shein for less than $2 per pair, and see in my mailbox in under 2 weeks with free shipping.

Same silky, slinky feel. Same nearly-opaque thickness. Same super-stretchy-ness.

Based mostly in denial, I decided to try them on anyway. I wore them for a total of about 30 minutes. In that time, I had to pull them up no less than a dozen times. The penultimate incidence of this, the back crotch seam came unraveled, and the tights split wide open. So much for "indestructible."

Final Thoughts

These tights are a ripoff. It's that simple. If you want to buy tights identical to these, just order them from Shein or Temu. You'll pay a lot less, receive them faster, and feel like less of a fool for having bought them.

If you do buy them, order at least one size bigger than the size chart indicates, and buy a nice pair of suspenders to keep them from sliding off your body.

Hosiery Review = Les Belles #1

Today, I'm reviewing Les Belles seamless tights, style "Sheer 03" with the classic belt (this will come up again later). The photo above shows the cute sateen bag the tights arrived in. What ever will I do with this bag now? The possibilities are endless...

First Impressions

The packaging was cute. Just a small plastic bag with "Les Belles" printed on one side and a zipper top. Nothing over the top, but it protects the tights from snags while in transit.

The tights themselves felt very soft and a bit thicker than the 20 denier advertised. The material is fairly smooth, and the seamless panty looks pretty standard for seamless tights.

There didn't appear to be any reinforcement on the toes, but the material does seem fairly strong, so ripping through the toes with my ever-growing foot-claws isn't too much of a concern.

Trying On

When gathering the first leg, these pantyhose seemed like they'd be too tight to fit me. Much like the Noosh tights I reviewed a couple weeks ago, this turned out to not be true, as they slid up my legs easily and glided into place without too much effort.

The Fit

As I mentioned, these tights slid on pretty easily, and the waistband ended up right at my waist. The back didn't pull up as far as the front, which I found concerning, and my concern was well founded.

After wearing the tights for about half an hour, walking through the grocery store, I could feel the waistband sliding down in the back. By the time I got back to my car, my derriere was completely uncovered.

Believing that maybe I hadn't pulled the tights up correctly when I put them on, I drove home, then pulled them up again, from the ankles all the way up to the waistband, but my butt still didn't feel adequately covered. Perhaps opting for the "high" belt would have been a better choice.

The Finish

Here's the good news. These tights look absolutely gorgeous. The finish is smooth, even and just sheer enough for my natural skintone to show through. This shade, 03, is a light suntan shade, but doesn't make my legs look overly brown, or worse, orange.

The color distribution is excellent, and the non-reinforced toes are great for showing off my pedi and toe jewelry.

Final Thoughts

I wanted to love these tights. I really did, but the fact that I have to constantly pull them up over my backside is truly infuriating. I don't have a disproportionately large bum, and I've worn seamless pantyhose that haven't fallen down (Noosh FTW).

These tights do look amazing on my legs, and they're quite comfy, waistband notwithstanding.

Overall, I'd give the Les Belles Sheer 03 tights a 7 out of 10. I'll buy another pair in the future, with the high belt, to see if it makes any difference, but as for this pair, $27 + shipping out the window.

Hosiery Review -- Sheertex

Today, I'm reviewing the Classic Sheer Rip Resist Tights by Sheertex! This is my first experience with this brand, so I'm excited to take them for a spin.

If you're like me, you've seen ads on social media for Sheertex for years. They claim their tights are indesctructible. At least they used to claim that. Now they claim that their tights are "rip resistant," which doesn't exactly justify their hefty price tag.

Back when Sheertex was new on the hosiery scene, they cost around $100 per pair. Let that sink in for a moment. $100 for a single pair of nylons. I watched various YouTube personalities shell out a Benjamin to review these pantyhose, and the reviews were overwhelmingly positive, but I still couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money on a pair of tights, even if they were truly unbreakable, and I could wear them every day for the rest of my days.

As with any new technology, the pioneers pay the freight so the rest of us can enjoy the product at a more reasonable price point, and such was the case with Sheertex. These days, you can take advantage of one sale or another and get your hands on a pair for around $35 (sometimes as low as $30). That's a price point I can begrudgingly  get on board with, as I did with the Noosh tights I reviewed last week at $32 (if you haven't read that review, you can follow this link to see it).

Anyway, on with the review of these Sheertex tights!

Packaging

The packaging is straightforward, a paperboard box with a plastic packet inside, which contains the actual tights. Sheertex has become known for the photo on the outside of the box, featuring a pair of scissors open within the leg of a pair of nylons (presumably Sheertex), with the nylons not ripping or breaking.

First Impressions

Upon removing these pantyhose from their packet, I immediately noticed how thick they seemed, especially compared to the Noosh tights I wore for my last review. I also noticed the green line across the waistband, another Sheertex trademark. It doesn't really add anything to the experience, but it distinguishes these tights from other brands rather well.

The fabric isn't exactly buttery smooth, but also not rough and scratchy, like you'd find with a lot of cheap pantyhose.

The waistband is very wide and thick, which is a game changer if you're looking to smooth and  sculpt your midsection.

The Fit

There must be something with these $30+ tights! As with the Noosh Play Sheer tights I reviewed last week, the Sheertex tights fit like a glove. They didn't sag or bunch up at my ankles. The waistband came up to just under my bustline, and that's where it stayed until I moved it. A++

These pantyhose have slightly reinforced toes, but I could still see my pedi through them. This works well to protect the tights from toenail entanglements, but won't be visible if worn with any shoe that shows off a bit of toe cleavage.

Overall, the fit was comfortable enough that I didn't notice I had them on for most of the day.

The Finish

The finish on these tights was excellent. The color distribution is flawless. The thickness is consistent. No complaints at all.

Stress Test

I wore these Sheertex tights for a full day. I wore them under a dress, with heels and with flats, lounged around the house, got some chores done, and even wore them to bed.

Sheertex started out claiming their tights were indestructible, and, based on my experience with them, I would have to agree These are as close to indestructible as any pair of nylons I own. I tend to be pretty rough on my pantyhose, and it's a rare pair that can make it through a full day with me and remain undamaged. These tights did just that, and didn't break a sweat.

Final Thoughts

I had high hopes for my first pair of Sheertex tights, and I wasn't disappointed. They're not as polished as Wolford or Cecila de Rafael, but that's not a fair comparison. These baddies are built for resilience, and they sure deliver. I recommend every nylon enthusiast try them at least once. Once may be all you need!

Hosiery Review: Noosh Play Sheer Tights

After a very long hiatus, I have returned with another hosiery review!

Today, I'm reviewing the "Play Sheer" tights from Noosh, in the shade "Dulce."

First Impressions

Right out of the shipping envelope, I was immediately impressed with the packaging of these tights. Not overly elaborate, but not "drug store" minimalist, either. Just a nice, clean, unassuming little bag, with "Noosh" printed on it, along with a "House of Tights" card, with a QR code on the back of it. The QR code led me to Noosh's website, with an offer of 20% off site-wide. Depending upon how the rest of this review goes, I may take advantage of that.

When I took the tights out of the package, I was struck by a couple things. First, the pigmentation of these nylons is gorgeous. The color is rich and even, and before I ever considered putting them on my legs, I was very pleased with how smooth they looked. The second thing that caught my eye was the waistband. It seemed HUGE as I held the tights in my hands.

Trying On

These tights were thicker than I anticipated, but I didn't mind. When your legs have been through what mine have over the years, thicker pantyhose equate to better coverage, and better concealment of all the little flaws.

The toes are reinforced, which I love. Not only do reinforced toes protect your nylons from being punctured by your toenails (I haven't had a pedi in over a month), they just look sexy as hell, especially with a couple toe rings peeking out from under them.

The tights were, well, tight, when I was pulling them on. I was worried that they would be too tight to fit correctly on my thighs. I was very pleased to find that they weren't too tight, and they slid over my thighs like they were tailor made just for me.

The waistband...oh, that glorious waistband! What I thought seemed excessive (4" waistband) is absolutely PERFECT. The waistband comes up to just above my navel, and has stayed in place as if by magic (so far).

The Fit

What can I say about the fit? It's perfect. I feel like these tights were made to fit me perfectly. There is no sagging in the crotch or the ankles, and after a few minutes, I honestly forgot I was wearing nylons at all. They fit like a second skin, comfortable and breathable.

The Finish

With so many pantyhose, especially the cheaper brands, it seems like they come out of the package with snags, lines, mottled color or just plain ugly finish.

These tights are the opposite. The color distribution is flawless. There isn't a snag or a line to be found. Were it not for the difference between the tights and my natural skintone (which is more fair), you'd have trouble noticing that I'm wearing them at all. 10/10.

Stress Test

I wore the Noosh tights for a solid 24 hours, with a dress and heels, under jeans with sneakers, and even slept in them.

Before taking them off, I took a good look at them, searching for flaws, snags, rips, runs, or any sign that they had been worn at all.

I have to say that they looked as good when I took them off as they did when I put them on, which is to say that they passed the stress test with flying colors. I put them through their paces, and these tights just smiled and asked for more.

Final Thoughts

I paid $32 for this pair of Noosh tights. With the exception of Wolford, I never would have dreamed to pay so much for a single pair of nylons before. Why spend $32 on a single pair of tights when you can get 2 pair of Sheer Energy pantyhose from Walmart for $10? The answer is simple: you get what you pay for.

Don't get me wrong. I've worn Sheer Energy before, and I'm very fond of them, but they can be constricting and overly thick, often bunching up behind my knees (which drives me crazy).

The Noosh Play Sheer tights are  strong, resilient, beautiful and, if I'm being 100% honest, the most comfortable pantyhose I've worn in a very long time. They fit my body like they were made just for me. They're like a layer of polish on my legs, hiding flaws and evening out my skintone. They're soft, smooth and very comfy, and they look perfect with a pair of 3" heels (see photos).

If you have the means, I heartily endorse giving Noosh tights a try. You can buy them here (Amazon link - I earn a commission), or http://www.getnoosh.com (I don't earn a commission here).

Thanks for reading my review! I hope you now have a better impression of these fabulous tights!

Nylon Content!

Since I've started updating the blog again, I've been brainstorming content ideas. Looking at the metrics from past posts, I noticed something very interesting. The one post which has the greatest number of views (and it's not even close) was the post where I reviewed a pair of Cecilia de Rafael Eterno Super Lucido 10 tights. That post received over 1,000 unique views. The next most viewed post was somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 views.

Apparently, people who read my blog REALLY like hosiery reviews!

I'm all for giving the audience what they want, so, in the coming days, I'm going to get back to reviewing hosiery!

And we're all in luck! Last week, I ordered 9 new pair of pantyhose -- 1 from Sheertex, 1 from Noosh, 3 from Indestructible Tights and 4 from Les Belles. I intend to review the Sheertex, Noosh and Les Belles tights individually, and the Indestructible Tights all together (they're all the same style, but in different shades).

I've already received the Sheertex, Noosh and Les Belles shipments. I'm still waiting for the Indestructible Tights to arrive (shipped from China - boo!).

I'm going to try on the Noosh tights today, take some photos and put them through their paces. I'll post the Noosh review soon. Here's a little teaser...

Until next time, friends...

Silly Games

I'm a totally addicted pantyhose maniac. I think my previous posts have established that.

I've also mentioned in the past that I have worn nylons and dresses at work, in my previous career as a truck driver, but that my current job isn't conducive to the wearing of the heavenly nylon.

This we have established. Let's move on to the topic du jour.

We had a mild autumn this year in Wisconsin.  Temperatures were in the 50's (Fahrenheit) until the middle of November. You might call this "shorts weather," though I haven't worn shorts to work since September.

One day, I was reflecting on how I was free to wear whatever took my fancy at my last job, pining for the days when I could experience that freedom again. Alas, those days may never return, but that doesn't mean I can't play some silly games with my wardrobe choices at work.

It occurred to me, in my lament of freedoms lost, that nobody can see what I'm wearing under my "normal guy" clothes at work, and there is no scenario in which I'm required to wear shorts. I could rock the heavenly nylon under my work pants, and nobody would be any the wiser, ever.

So I've done just that. I've worn pantyhose under my pants (known in crossdressing circles as "underdressing") at work roughly 75% of the last month, and it has been blissful, if I'm being honest.

But wait, just pantyhose?

No, not just pantyhose.  I've also been wearing panties and "t-shirt" bras (they're supposed to be invisible under a t-shirt) in addition to my sheer nylons.

Today, I'm taking it up a notch.

I have a pair of work pants with a small hole in the thigh area. The pants are black. I've worn black or nude pantyhose under this particular pair of pants at work, which presents a very low probability of my little nylon secret being discovered.

Tonight, I'm going to wear the black pants, but with WHITE pantyhose under them. Provocative, I know. Anyone paying attention will be able to see it. Of course, nobody pays attention to little details like that, so I'm sure nothing will come of it.

*** UPDATE **

I let time get away from me! I got out of the shower, did my post-shower ritual (comb hair, swab ears, deodorant, etc), then got a look at the clock, which revealed that I should be leaving for work in roughly...5 minutes ago. Ope!

I got my panties and bra on, then slipped into my beautiful white pantyhose. Only then did I discover the problem... I have 2 pair of black work pants. They are identical in every detail, with the exception of the small hole on the leg of one pair. When folded and sitting atop a pile of clean, folded laundry, it's impossible to distinguish them from one another.

I pulled on my black work pants, looked down at the leg, and DIDN'T see my white nylons. This was the wrong pair. Again, Ope!

The fact that I was running late prevented me from swapping the pants, so I went to work with my gorgeous white pantyhose concealed under my pants, rather than peeking out through a small hole in the right thigh. As was the case with my panties and my lovely pink t-shirt bra, my glorious white tights were out of sight of everyone. My disappointment was very real and weighed on me all night at work.

Of course, wearing pantyhose under my pants at work is still several orders of magnitude better than NOT wearing pantyhose under my pants at work. The feeling of the heavenly nylon, on my legs and especially on my toes,  makes the work day so much easier.

Today is Friday. On Fridays, I wear pink -- either pink tights / pantyhose or 3 other pink items. Since I'll be at work, I can't wear 3 pink items (usually it would be bra, panties and a dress), so I'm 100% going to rock the pink tights under my pants (the pair with the rip). While it won't have the same effect as the white pantyhose, it's still pretty provocative. Maybe moreso, since pink stands out more than white does, and the pink tights I plan to wear are very, VERY pink.

To boldly go where no one has gone before...or recently...or something.

Journaling

At my job, there is plenty of "ass time" -- time spent sitting and waiting for something that requires my attention or participation. In a 12-hour shift, I'm lucky if I spend 4 hours actually doing something. I have a few computer monitors at my desk, and the majority of my shift is spent monitoring the data on those screens. There are things I can do out on the production floor, but not many, and not very often. Welcome to mill work.

Anyway, we're not allowed to bring laptops (or books, for that matter) to work, so that ass time can stretch into boredom very easily.

When we're on night shift, I can stare at my phone, which I do a lot of, but even that gets boring after several hours. My solution to this is journaling.  I keep a notebook in my locker, and every day I bring it into the office and set it under one of my monitors. When the urge strikes, I grab it and start writing whatever is rattling around in my brain. Quite often, the subject of crossdressing comes up.

Ah, but there's the rub!

I work in an office with 2 other "techs," and various people popping in and out throughout the shift, especially when we're on day shift.

It wouldn't do to have my coworkers reading my journal and discovering my love of nylons, dresses and all things girly, since nobody at this job knows about this side of me. So, I have to be very...diplomatic (read "sneaky") with what I write in my notebook. I can't mention dresses, so I call them vestidos (Spanish) or Robes (French). I most certainly can't mention pantyhose, so I call them medias (Spanish for socks) or Collants (French for pantyhose). I absolutely can't write about doing all the gay stuff I fantasize about doing, so I have to refer to those activities with vague or cryptic language. If anyone were to peruse my journal while I'm away from my desk, there is a very low likelihood that they'd understand what they're reading, at least the full context of it.

While this works to keep my freakier inclinations undiscovered, I would honestly prefer that everyone just know I'm a bisexual crossdresser and write what I really want in my notebook.

Maybe some day. Not today.

So for now, I write in foreign languages and my own little code.
